CHURCH OF JESUS

Because of God’s blessings of abundant life and provisions, 2022 marks the tenth year of this outreach ministry, originally named "Sharing the Feast" initiated by our founder the late Bishop Bennie Mitchell, Sr. Our community food distribution ministry is supplied and prepared by volunteers. Prepackaged seasonal food boxes include a variety of canned goods, fresh veggies and fruits, a variety of meats, breads/bakery and dairy products. Recently gift cards to local grocery merchants have been added by donors. The recipients include families in our community, members and regular attendees. Our ministry objectives include: food relief provisions to assist families/individuals in maintaining their health, independence, and dignity. This allows ministry opportunities to show love and share the message of the gospel.

Testimonies:
You all didn’t forget me. This is so nice. Thank the Lord! Tell everybody ‘Thank you!’ The Lord is so good to me.

Gee! A Walmart gift card! Thank you!

My grandma, me, and the baby can use this! Thank you all. I just had the baby five months ago, so I’m not working yet.
Cynthia F.

Oh, yes! I can use this and that. All of this! Thank you! Thank you!
Shirley

A blessing! God is still providing! When I didn’t have any money and my refrigerator was empty, I was thinking of someone else and God provided for me. It’s a blessing!

I really appreciate it, Mother. It has been my joy getting it. I can use everything! And, I thank God and everybody who put it together. I can’t even express how I feel when I got it. I shared the news with others and asked the Lord to bless the church, the sisters, and the brothers for the blessing bestowed upon me.

For I was an hungry, and you gave Me food: I was thirsty, and gave Me drink: I was a stranger, and you took Me in: I was Naked, and you clothed Me: I was sick, and you visited Me: I was in prison, and you came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungry, and fed You or thirsty, and gave You drink? When did we see You a stranger, and took You in or naked, and clothed You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and came to You? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
